What finished Commerce is.
Authority is docs/vision.md and docs/capabilities.md in SylphxAI/commerce. This page restates that dest for independent developers. It does not claim live money or that DNS already answers the dest peel.
The five questions
The five questions: what was used, what may be used, what it costs, what is owed or paid, and why Commerce and the provider disagree.
- What was used — immutable usage facts, corrections as signed deltas.
- What may be used — replayable entitlement decisions, never last-write-wins.
- What it costs — a rated charge naming exact meter and price versions.
- What is owed or paid — frozen invoices, verified provider events, balanced journal postings.
- Why Commerce and the provider disagree — unmatched amounts stay explicit.

Identities on this product
Live durable names are the COM-* money, client, and site rows (fate live). COM-SITE is this site. COM-SDK and COM-CLI are generated clients of the same contract; they are not money primitives and do not feed COM-MONEY.
Leftovers, fate dead. Ledger (engine brand), ledger.sylphx.com, ledger.api.sylphx.com, Consumer, consumer.api.sylphx.com, dens.api.sylphx.com, billing.api.sylphx.com, payments.api.sylphx.com, and predecessor peel commerce.api.sylphx.com are not live products. Journal postings remain COM-JOURNAL. commerce-import is the offline cut tool, not COM-CLI. dens Console is not COM-SITE. Dest API is only https://api.commerce.sylphx.com.
Not this product
- Storefront, checkout UX, tax advice, fraud engine, bank, or general accounting suite.
- Not a hosted login console, and not dens Console (
console.sylphx.com). - Not marketing HTML on the peel host
